Helios Five is
an interpolated 5 axis (6 with the lathe option) CNC and bridge saw machine. It
can carry out optimally the most part of machining in the stone field. The software Galaxy Stone manages the machine under Windows 7;  and  enhances
its performances during the working processes.

CHARACTERISTICS
AND FUNCTIONALITIES:

Bridge sawing machine: Slabs cutting
times reduced up to 5 times compared to conventional sawing machines, and the
material waste reduction of 40% resulting in raw material costs savings.

Single head edge polishing
machine: it easily performs edge working in several shapes with no need to move
the process on other machine. This saves valuable space in the laboratory.
Furthermore the use of pads instead of shaped tools allows a substantial saving
both in terms of machine tooling costs and in terms of tools wear out, keeping
unaltered performance level even on contoured surfaces.

Turning process: This process
takes place directly on the working bench since the axes turn 360° around tle piece.

Pantograph
machine function: the 5 interpolated axes facilitate the process of engraving also on
shaped surfaces.

Carving
machine: the carving times for
sculpture reduced up
to 5 times compared to the traditional carving

processes, and tool lifespan exceeds average tool lifespan of 900%.

Anticorrosive
stainless steel coating.

Slat bench in perfectly ground Aluminium , to help fixing the items directly on the working
bench.

Tool
store 10/100 positions and
automatic tool changer.

The
axes are moved by brushless

Ball in screws and linear guides, for friction reduction, guaranteeing accuracy of movements,
